Choosing Your JUPEB Subject Combination
JUPEB candidates take three subjects, and the combination you choose decides which university courses you can enter at 200 level. Choose it from the course backwards.
Start from your course
Check the admission requirements of your target course at the universities you want. They list the subjects they accept. Pick your three JUPEB subjects to match.
Common combinations
- Science (Biology, Physics, Chemistry): medicine, nursing, pharmacy, biological sciences and related courses.
- Engineering and physical sciences (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry): engineering, computer science, physics and related courses.
- Social Science and Management (for example Economics, Government, Accounting or Business Studies): economics, accounting, business administration, political science.
- Arts and Law (for example Literature in English, CRS or IRS, History): law, languages, history and other arts courses.
Requirements differ between universities and change over time, so always confirm with the university or your JUPEB centre before you register.
